Burnt out, stressed out and desperate for change...

This is how my story began.

​

I was exhausted all the time, my sleep patterns were disrupted and I found it hard to keep up. I was in a chronic low-level 'fight or flight' state of survival that lasted years.

​

I suspected that my thyroid was struggling. I saw multiple doctors and had several tests done throughout the years but the tests always came back normal. It was frustrating to say the least. All my friends seemed to have 'boundless energy' and I was ready for a nap by 9am.

I later discovered through some specialized testing recommended by my naturopathic doctor that I was experiencing adrenal fatigue, also known as adrenal burnout. 

​

With some simple changes, I was able to ease the stress on my adrenal glands, regulate my sleep patterns and my energy came back. I feel so much better!

I'm glad I didn't give up and I'm so grateful that there was alternative testing that provided more information and a different perspective.
